Recognition took place during the Southeast Region’s Fall Conference on September 29, 2022.  The Conference took place at the Tri-County Career Center.

The Ohio Department of Education established the Purple Star Award for military-friendly public schools and recognizes those schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military.  Across the state, 94 schools received the award as a New School Designation for a period from 2022-2025.  8 of those 94 schools are from the Southeast Region.

The Southeast Region is comprised of 18 counties representing 84 school districts.
